I’m excited to say our bill for better beer has made it through the Assembly Committee and the General Assembly.  We’ve had a little resistance (mostly from folks in other segments of the adult beverage industry…) but we’ve made it this far!  We’re not done yet though, and I’d like to once again ask for your help in reforming the laws that have helped to keep New Jersey from being the great beer state that it can be.  On Monday New Jersey’s Senate will vote on S-641.  Please call your Senator today and ask  him or her to vote YES on Monday.  Remind them what craft beer can do for employment and tourism in our state.  Every now and then one of you will tell me “You should open and Iron Hill in ….”  Well until this bill goes through, we’re limited to two.  The current laws also prevent us from donating beer to charity events and organizing off-premise samplings.  And I know a lot of you would love to pop into Flying Fish and get a brewery-fresh case of beer.  Right now, you can’t.  This bill will take care of all of that and more.  So help craft beer and excercise your voice as an American!  Here’s a link where you can find contact info for your local Senator.  Thanks for your help!
