Remember Sander? Last year he came into the restaurant and offered me some fresh, off-the-vine hops from his backyard. We dry hopped a few firkins with it last year with some great results. Once again Sandy was generous enough to share his crop with me. I dry hopped two kegs of our Kolsch with a 1/2 pound each of locally-grown whole-leaf Nugget hops. They literally got into the beer within hours of having been pulled off the vine. We’ll be tapping Sander’s Cones at 5:15 on Wednesday.
