Kevin Costner before waterworld raced bikes. The Hell Of The West was Le Grand Tour apple pie style. In typical American fashion, despite teams, it was hero versus the antihero. Hero = long toothed Costner, until he hands reigns to younger brother. Anti-hero = Muzzin aka, the Cannibal, named after Merckx, who cameos in the movie. There was no beer in the movie. Mabe they should have American Flyers II, brewer leaves WC for GABF CO, wins gold, and rides off into the Rockies. Myth ensues, but nobody really knows what happened.
