Was Russian plowing early this morning?

Russian just can’t be stopped!   I came to work this morning where the parking lot had already been cleared of snow, despite the fact that there were no plows in sight.  Mysteriously though, a glass of Russian Imperial Stout stood strong and proud on a snow pile.  Almost as if to say “Everything is going to be okay, don’t let this snow stop you from getting to me.”  …….Or, your humble narrator  just walked a glass of Russian out to a snow pile in our back parking lot and took this picture.  Maybe it was the Russian that plowed or maybe i walked out back, either way the beer was delicious on the walk back to the brewery!  I hope everyone is having some kind of fun in the snow today.  Cozy up to a big beer and dream about summer! ~V

Steve LOVES our Belgian Tripel!

Steve LOVES our Belgian Tripel!

I’m slowly getting this blog up and running.  Thanks for being patient!  Today i updated the seasonal beers on tap section and wanted to give an update on events and upcoming relases.  As for events here is what we have in the works;  You can come and get autographs and pictures of Bob Barrar (head brewer in our Media location) and the rest of our motley brew crew at http://www.earthbreadbrewery.com/ on Feb. 18th from 6-11.  Beers from Iron Hill will be featured for the evening.  I am sending the Nine of Diamonds (Wee Heavy).  Speaking of Nine of Diamonds, i’ve been getting a lot of questions as to why my Scottish Wee Heavy is named so.  Here is your answer; http://www.rampantscotland.com/know/blknow_curse.htm.  I liked the different stories, so i ran with it.  Along with the Nine of Diamonds, we recently tapped Belgian Tripel as well.  The Tripel is pictured above with our friendly bartender Steven.  I am working on an all Oak Aged Beer event for March 19th and should have a list of the exact beers that we will tap this week.  That’s it for now folks, feel free to contact me with any questions.
