So if imitation is the sincerestform of flattery, the guys in North Wales are loving us. On the tail of our “Chuck’s Beard” success they have brewed a beer they are calling Tom Selleck’s Mustache. The beer is a Black Cherry Stout. I wasn’t really sure what that had to do with Tom (notice the use of his first name…we’re close Tom and I…he just doesn’t know it) in any case Casey her in west chester reminded me that the beer is Smooth and Sexy, just like Tom. If she says so. Anyway, Vinsanity and the crew up in North Wales had a release party for this killer beer on Friday. I was unable to attend due to a family commitment. My wife said if I went drinking instead of “getting my butt home to see her”….you get the idea. She’s been working the overnight at Victory and we haven’t had much time together. In any case I was sad to miss the party and especially sad to miss Ian Ashley all dressed up like this!

nice!
Nice work Ian. That is a great outfit. Love the hat, shirt, chest hair, etc. Stop in for a pint, the beer is great I hear

Perhaps the brewer of a mustache-oriented beer (spelling mustache with an “ou” represents communism) should be nominated for the American Mustache Institute’s “Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year” honor, which can be done here:
http://www.americanmustacheinstitute.org/MustacheAmericanOfYear.aspx.
People of Mustached American descent are brave, wise, and clearly, good looking.
Try strapping one on.

Hello, I was in for dinner and beers about a month ago and had Selleck’s Mutache and loved it. I am a home brewer and was hoping you could give me a few hints about your recipe? I am going to make a cherry stout next week…
Cheers! Matt

I’ve been waiting for this beer to come back for a LONG time. Half of my mug was gone before the appitizer order was taken. If I can get it in a growler, I’m setting up an I.V. drip.
