New Menu brings back some faves, Lejon Pizza Returns!

This Fall’s Menus launch is going to be a crowd pleaser for sure! By now, you probably know that the Salmon Spring Rolls are back, but this new menu brings back several fan favorites including Shrimp Lejon Pizza, the coveted Harvest Salad and Pommes Frites.

In honor of these oldies but goodies, I made a special request for a recipe to share and Chef Dan came through with a Friday night favorite that you’ll make again and again!!!

Here it is, The Lejon Pizza

Make at Home Ingredients:

1 –  Boboli pre-made pizza crust or your own homemade dough

10z – Horsey Chive sauce (recipe below)

3.5 oz – Mozzarella

1 oz – Chopped bacon

1T – Scallions, chopped

2oz – Rock Shrimp (Pre-cooked)

Directions: Preheat oven to 350F. Spread 1 oz of *Horsey Chive sauce evenly over dough/pizza crust leaving a 1/2 inch border. Sprinkle 2.5 oz. mozzarella cheese evenly, reserving one once. Evenly spread chopped bacon, scallions & (pre-cooked) rock shrimp then sprinkle the remainder of the mozzarella over the pie.

Bake in oven on pizza stone for 8-10 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is completely melted. Remove from oven, cut into 6 slices and serve.

*Horsey Chive Sauce Recipe & Instructions

Ingredients:

3 oz – Horseradish (drained and pressed)

1.5 C –  Mayonnaise

.5 C – Sour Cream

1.25 oz – Buttermilk

2T – Fresh chives (minced)

1tsp – Lemon juice

.5tsp – Worcestershire sauce

dash –  salt & pepper mix

Directions:

Drain and press out any excess liquid in the horseradish in a mesh colander. In a large stainless steel mixing bowl, add all ingredients.  Using a large, heavy-duty whip, mix thoroughly. Check the salt and pepper. Place in a container, cover, label, date and refrigerate.
