The competition was fierce, but we narrowed it down to 5 winning homebrews. Final judging took place on January 18th for our first regional homebrewing competition, Brew with a Legend, where homebrewers vied for the opportunity to brew their signature recipe with craft beer pioneer and Iron Hill’s co-founder, Mark Edelson.
“We were completely floored by the interest and excitement around this first year of putting on this competition. We received over 186 unique participants with over 360 beers to taste at five designated regional locations and had to narrow it down to just five total,” said Mark Edelson, Director of Brewery Operations for Iron Hill. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to brew with our five creative and talented winners, it’s going to be a busy year ahead.”
